Dates for all of the events below can be found in the Diary.
On the first Saturday of every month a group gather for breakfast and a time to pray for our Benefice, the local community and wider issues.
We meet at 8.00am and finish at 9.00am in various homes. We would love you to join us.
Men's Breakfast (a full English!) takes place every other month at 9.00am at The Red Lion, Arlingham.
Speakers at these breakfasts have been interesting, provocative, entertaining and informative and there is usually an opportunity to ask questions.
Every Wednesday afternoon, 2pm - 4pm, we meet for tea and chat and to make prayer shawls for those we feel need our prayers, for example, during an illness; after bereavement; or for a new mother and baby.
We meet in Ann Greave's house in Fretherne - all welcome. You can get more information from Ann on 740662 or Penny on 740162. Visit shawlministry.com to read more.
Just bring some largish needles and some wool or whatever you are knitting at the moment.
The Severnside Mothers' Union meets at St James Church, Saul on the first Tuesday of the month at 2.00pm. There is a short service of Communion followed by a speaker. There is plenty of time to chat over tea and biscuits after the speaker.
The group would welcome new members and be assured you will receive a warm welcome.
For further information on the work of the Mothers' Union please see their national web site: www.themothersunion.org.
Ladies Lunches take place twice a year at The Passage, Arlingham and are very popular. An excellent meal is provided and is followed by informative and interesting speakers.
From time and time a group from the church get together for walks in our beautiful countryside - a good opportunity to get to know each other better. We usually end up at a local pub for lunch, sustaining us for the return trip.
Improve your stamina, suppleness, core strength and balance!
Classes take place at St Peter's Church, Framilode at 4.30pm every Monday. Just turn up or for more info contact Betty Haynes on 741558.
